Cyber Operations Analyst

CGI Federal is hiring a Cyber Operations Analyst to support cybersecurity initiatives at Fort Meade, Maryland. This role focuses on analyzing the operational impact of contracts and funding decisions on Cyber Command activities while ensuring alignment with strategic cybersecurity objectives. In this role, you will evaluate cybersecurity operations and assess how funding allocations and contract decisions affect operational readiness. Your analysis will help leadership understand the effectiveness and efficiency of cybersecurity investments.

The Cyber Operations Analyst will design and maintain dashboards and analytical tools using platforms such as Power BI and SharePoint. These tools will track operational metrics, contract performance, and funding impacts. You will interpret complex datasets, generate actionable reports, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in cybersecurity operations, contract management, or financial analysis within military or government environments is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills, data interpretation capabilities, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Additional qualifications may include knowledge of procurement processes, cybersecurity principles, and experience working in defense or government agencies. The ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining attention to detail is critical.
