Key Responsibilities

As a DevOps/Cloud Intern, you will:

• Collaborate with an agile team to set up and configure cloud-based environments.
• Design and implement secure cloud system architectures aligned with industry standards.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code modules using Terraform, Python, and other scripting tools.
• Create and manage automation scripts to deploy resources into Kubernetes clusters hosted on AWS and Azure.
• Build containerized workflows to streamline production activities.
• Assist in light database development for resource tracking capabilities.
• Work closely with development teams to configure, monitor, and support cloud services.
• Ensure security practices are integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic experience in one or more of the following:
• Cloud hosting services: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Front-end technologies: ReactJS, HTML5, CSS, NodeJS
• Programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell
• REST API/microservice applications: Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
• Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB
• Version control and collaboration tools: GIT, JIRA, Confluence
• Containerized environments: Docker, Kubernetes
• Strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive attitude, creativity, and a desire to learn.

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $25–$30 per hour
