Overview

TD Securities US Finance is a part of the wider TD Securities Finance group, as one of the three regional finance groups for the Wholesale Banking segment of TD Bank Group it has a key role in the USA providing aid in financial, management, liquidity, and regulatory reporting. In addition, by its nature as a primary control and aid group in the region, TDS Finance USA provides business information supporting projects and initiatives often as the liaison with the other groups and segments both in the US and Canada but also with the other regions (UK and Singapore).

Specific Accountabilities Include:

• aid regulatory deliverables associated with TDS and prepare regulatory reports for FRB & US Treasury reporting.

• aid regulator inquires on reports within scope of responsibilities.

• aid Governance related tasks/mandate and work closely with Compliance and 1B business partners to understand and satisfy requirements, if needed.

• aid other key departmental projects and initiatives as assigned by manager.

• Maintain and build upon existing procedure documents and processes by updating and performing ongoing review of all information essential to aid reports; includes information gathering from source systems and working with business partners to source essential information.

Specific Requirements / Accreditations:

• Bachelor degree in Business/Accounting/Financial Management, with accounting designation preferred.

• Proven analytical talents and sound judgment in a dynamic business climate.

• The ability to translate high volumes of /complex reporting requirements and data into simple, consistent, and sustainable processes.

The Specialized Finance Analyst, TDS performs a variety of specialized finance functions in a particular finance area(s) on an entry-level basis.

Depth & Scope:

• Experienced working professional role providing specialized business services, advisory or processes / program aid within their own area of speciality

• Requires experienced, conceptual and practical familiarity within their own specialty and familiarity of broader related areas

Education & track record:

• Undergraduate degree and/or

• 3+ years relevant track record preferred

• Accounting, financial or relevant professional designation preferred

Customer Accountabilities:

• Specializes in particular areas according to established policies and procedures and applicable legal and regulatory guidelines

Shareholder Accountabilities:

• Contributes to various operational activities and processes as assigned

• Consistently exercises discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalates issues where appropriate

• Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keeps abreast of emerging trends for own functional area

Employee/unit Accountabilities:

• Participates fully as a member of the unit, supports a positive work climate that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensures timely communication of issues/ points of interest

• Supports the unit by continuously enhancing familiarity / expertise in own area and participates in familiarity transfer within the unit and business unit

• Keeps current on emerging trends/ developments and grow familiarity of the business, related tools and techniques
